Law Library Core Collections

The Charles B. Sears Law Library contains 300,000 bound volumes and over 221,000 volumes in microform covering a wide variety of materials on law and law-related subjects. Included in the Federal and New York Core Collections are basic legal research tools: court reporters and digests, session laws and codes, rules and regulations, attorney general reports, jurisdictional encyclopedias and citators.

The 7th floor is a designated quiet study area. Access is limited to the law school community (students/faculty/staff) by swipe card only. If you are not affiliated with the law school and require access to materials on the 7th floor, please see a reference librarian or circulation staff member on the 2nd floor for assistance.
