UB ONLY databases are restricted to current University at Buffalo faculty, staff, and students. Other individuals are welcome to visit the Law Library and conduct their research at library workstations.

Eighteenth Century Collection Online (ECCO)

The ECCO Law Module is an historical archive that traces the development of law in the British Empire. World News Connection ( WNC ) covers news broadcasts from throughout the world. The Central Intelligence Agency and its contractors translate this information into English. Emphasis is upon popular, newsworthy topics that deal with political, social, and economic issues throughout the world. Policy documents and other excerpts from foreign government publications are sometimes translated as well. The National Technical Information Service, a section of the US Department of Commerce, maintains the World News Connection database, and Dialog publishes it.    More info
