Resources by Subject
Databases by Title
Refers you to databases and subject guides.
Look at the resources listed under these disciplines: NOTE: Other disciplines/topics also offer databases and resources relevant to legal research.
Allows you to look at an alphabetical list of databases available at UB.
Also allows you to do a simple search of database descriptions. (Caveat: do NOT use the words law, music, poetry, art, science, or health in your search (…because it also searches the names of the libraries –a small glitch)
(Legal Periodical Indexes include LegalTrac, Index to Legal Periodicals and Books, and Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals.)
How can I find the articles I identified?
Electronic Journals (E-Journals)
BISON
Use to find (in electronic format) full-text magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals by title of publication (not specific article).
Do a search using the title of the publication (not the title of the article).
What if UB does not own the book or article I need?
ILLIAD (Inter-Library Loan)
Provides a form so you can order a book or journal article not available in the UB Libraries. (UB affiliated patrons only.)
