Collections

The Charles B. Sears Law Library contains 300,000 bound volumes and over 221,000 volumes in microform covering a wide variety of materials on law and law-related subjects. Included in the Federal, New York, and State Core Collections are basic legal research tools: court reporters and digests, session laws and codes, rules and regulations, attorney general reports, jurisdictional encyclopedias and citators.

*PLEASE NOTE: The 7th floor of the Law Library is closed to all library patrons and will not re-open until the roof is replaced (projected completion date is January 2009). In the interim, 7th floor material has been relocated as noted to other floors within the Law Library. If you require assistance with any material that is regularly located on the 7th floor, please see a librarian.
