Library Services for Patrons with Disabilities
The University Libraries attempt to accommodate the information needs of all users. Patrons with disabilities are encouraged to telephone before visiting in order to alert library staff of any specific needs; every effort will be made to accommodate reasonable requests.

Current UB students, faculty and staff members who are registered with the Office of Disability Services may be eligible for certain additional services related to library use.
Services Available
- Article photocopying/book retrieval
- Proxy borrowing services - A proxy card authorizes a
designated third party to borrow books on behalf of the patron with disabilities.
