Print/Copy Debit Cards
Copiers are available in all units of the University Libraries and make black & white copies on 8.5 x 11 inch or 8.5 x 14 inch paper. The cost is 10 cents per page. The photocopy machines accept print/copy debit cards, single dollar bills, and U.S. coins. These copiers will not accept UB Cards.
With the adoption of the iprint@UB program, the print/copy debit card pays for printing and photocopying in the UB Libraries. To purchase a print/copy debit card, insert a one dollar bill in the machine located on the wall in Room 221 B. The $1 payment includes a one-time $0.60 card charge and an initial $0.40 card credit. Additional credit can be added to the card by inserting $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 or $20.00 bills. It is recommended that Law Students sign their cards so that lost cards can be returned if recovered.
Print/copy debit cards can be used indefinitely and encoded with additional monetary value in two ways: using the wall encoder stations or the actual copy machines. For more information, refer to the Print/Copy Debit Card webpage.
