OpenPort Connections
Laptop users in the Law Library may connect to the Internet using OpenPort connects located on the 3rd floor in the laptop carrels and at desks along the north wall (elevator side). Additional locations throughout the University Libraries are listed at http://ubit.buffalo.edu/openport/.
Law students may print from laptops on a networked printer in the first-floor Student Lounge in the Law School.
An ethernet card, installed according to the following directions, is necessary to use the OpenPort connects.
- Mobile Computing for Windows XP
- Mobile Computing for Windows 2000
- Mobile Computing for Macintosh OS X
