Research Materials:Delivery+ (formerly known as Mercury)
Delivery+ is a Libraries document delivery service. Law Library staff will deliver books, chapters, electronic articles, photocopies of articles, and other materials held by the University Libraries or obtained via interlibrary loan (ILL) to Law School faculty offices. John Mondo, Head of Access Services (645-2347 or firstname.lastname@example.org) in the Law Library, is our local contact for Delivery+.
To make a request for materials, use the Delivery+ request form.
If you have been using the Mercury service, you most likely already have an Delivery+ account. Please check with reference or John Mondo.
To register for Delivery+, the reference librarians are available to assist you with the registration process. Please stop by the reference desk, call the desk at 645-2047, or contact your librarian liaison for help.
For items available on campus, turnaround time is around 24 hours on week days. Interlibrary loans have variable arrival times, as they may be coming from across the country. Please note that we do not copy cases or statutes.
Requests may also be submitted by e-mail (email@example.com) or by calling the reference desk at 645-2047.
Library Liaison Program:
Each faculty member is paired with a reference librarian at Charles B. Sears. (If you’ve forgotten which reference librarian you’ve been paired with, call the reference desk at 645.2047). Your reference librarian can provide specialized research instruction in your classes, identify research resources for classes, help set you up with current awareness services, and provide guidance in your research and scholarship.
