Berkeley Electronic Press Journals: Law and Bepress Law Repository	Register for account to receive email alerts Search in both Journals (Journals link from top bar) and the Law Repository To create an alert, click on "Notify Me" link
BNA	To receive email headlines and alerts when BNA titles included in our subscription are updated, register and choose BNA titles from initial screen with "BNA at State University of New York" banner. Login to save and retrieve searches. Login to customize on-screen displays. After a search is performed, use "Search History" link to save searches. Use "Saved History" link to return to prior searches.
CCH Internet Research Network	For email alerts, use Preference link at the top of the screen, and register using the "Tracker Email Options" tab. Then use "Set Tracker Searches" tab to specify CCH database and indicate search terms desired. After a search is performed, use "Add to Favorite Searches" link to save searches. To save search results, use "Add to Research Folders" link.
CQ Electronic Library (Congressional Quarterly)	Click on "Your Profile" on left hand side and create a profile. Click on Home at top of screen and perform search When searching CQ Weekly and CQ Researcher, click on "Save Email Alert" to receive alerts
HeinOnline	NO Alert Service available To save searches and bookmarks, use "Create an Account" link from HeinOnline homepage Once you have an account, perform a search, browse to the bottom of the articles retrieved, select from the pulldown menu "Save to MyHein Search Queries" and click on "Save." To save a bookmark, view article, and click on "Save/Bookmark" at top of screen. Click on "Save to MYHein Bookmarks." To view and retrieve saved queries, click "MyHein" tab and click on "Saved Searches" or "Saved Bookmarks."
Index to Legal Periodicals and Books	Sign-on to database, click on "MYWILSONWEB" at top of screen, and register for new account. Perform search and view list of articles retrieved. Click on "Create Alert" and follow instructions.
Legal Scholarship Network (LSN) Part of Social Science Research Network (SSRN)	Register as a new user in the top left hand side of SSRN’s homepage and sign in. From "User Home" click on "Subscriptions," browse to Legal Scholarship Network and click on "Click Here" to subscribe to journals in LSN. You will receive email notices of new articles posted in your chosen journals. Use "Search eLibrary" to perform a keyword search and add articles to "My Briefcase"
Legaltrac	Perform a search. To receive an email alert on new articles added on the same search, click on the "Create a Search Alert" link in upper right hand corner of the search.
LexisNexis (Law School only)	Sign on to Lexis To set up an Alert, select a source, execute your search, then click the "Save as Alert" link on the results page.
SmartCILP	Current Index to Legal Periodicals' personalized periodical awareness tool. Contact Reference Desk to set up your profile. Also available on Westlaw (to search use "Locate")
Westlaw	Sign on to Westlaw and click the Westlaw Research tab. To create an alert, click on "Alert Center" Choose type of Alert desired, click on "Create," and add search terms, database desired, etc.
